Strawberry and Cream  Oatmeal

Classic Strawberry and cream  oatmeal is a dreamy combination. One of the many classical oatmeal flavors available and so easy to replicate.


Ingredients:

  • 1 c. rolled oats

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 c blueberries

Prepare:

  1. Bring milk to boil on medium high heat with rolled oats.
  2. Add vanilla extract and honey 
  3. Stir frequently for 5 minutes
  4.  Serve warm and top with sliced strawberry and blueberries

 Egg in a hole quesadilla

Filled with healthy carbs and protein, this recipe brings the delicious taste of quesadilla to life. 


Ingredients:

  • 2 tortilla

  • pico de gallo
  • 1/4 butter 
  • 1 c. shredded cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground pepper

Prepare:

  1. On a skillet, place 1/4 butter and let melt.
  2.  Place 1 tortilla and let it toast. Add shredded cheese and let it melt.
  3. Add second tortilla and press down.
  4. Remove from heat and with a cup cutter, make a hole in the center.
  5. Place quesadilla back on skillet and crack an egg in the center.
  6. Season egg to your liking and cover so egg can cook.
  7. After 3-5 minutes, remove lid and serve on a plate.
  8. Add pico de gallo and more shredded cheese. Enjoy!
